There are many ways to donate to the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.  

Here is a summary: 

 

Outright Gifts

  • Cash
    The easiest gift to make. All gifts qualify as an IRS charitable contribution deduction. Click on the "Donate Now" button below to make an on-line donation now!
  • Gift of Securities, Real Estate
    Gift should be held for more than six months and have grown in value. Tax deductible fair market value, and avoids capital tax.
  • Corporate Gifts
    For donors with large interests in corporations. Corporations can deduct up to 10 percent of their taxable income annually toward a charitable gift.
  • Personal Property
    Jewelry, stamp or coin collections, and art work. Authorized appraisal of the contributed property required.

Deferred or Planned Gifts

  • Charitable Remainder Trust
    Provides annual income to donor that can vary based on annual valuation of trust’s assets.
  • Lead Trust
    “Lead” interest is given to organization for specific time period and remainder of principal to non-charitable beneficiary.
  • Sale of property to the organization for less than market value
  • Bequests
